Lang Eyelet Sweater

Rosana Dana Dana

I finally found the charger for my camera battery, which is very important because blogging isn’t as fun without pictures. I’ve almost finished the Rosana sweater (that’s the name of the Gedifra yarn, the pattern is by Lang). It’s going to fit a little more closely than I thought it would - probably because of the stretch in the yarn. We’ll see once I get to really try it on (tonight, I hope!)

If anyone has been reading my blog for awhile you know that I need to catch up on photos of all my past projects that haven’t gone so well: the Noro cardigan (whose neckline is too deep), the Chunky Soft floppy pullover (that’s so warm I can’t where it south of Iceland), and Evia (which I hadn’t even finished before it got wet and bled “Chile” all over the cream). I think I’ll do that over the next 2 weeks or so.

I’d also like to start up a tribute page dedicated to everyone that has made Bob, with pictures of the finished sweaters. If anyone out there reading this has tried the pattern, let me know, send me a picture, and tell me what you thought of the finished result.

The new issue of Knitty is out and I’m already starting my list. The first thing I’ll be making is the little bag (”aline”) that Annie designed. Made of Raffia with a lining of rayon ribbon - what a great idea!

I’m nearly finished with the first sleeve of the Lang sweater

It has eyelets at the cuff and all over the shoulder - very unusual. I’m using Gedifra Rosana Stretch that I got for a couple dollars a ball from eBay. It think it’s long discontinued but it has a wonderful stretch. This sweater is going to feel more like a t-shirt.
