And I say conquered because it took me 3.5 hours to full these suckers. It would have been easier on me if I’d thrown in a couple more pairs of jeans and a shoe, but I just kept thinking I was so close. Then it got to be sort of a game: start the washer, fill the coffee maker, coffee maker’s done, check the feet, pour the hot water into the machine, start the washer, fill the…well you have the idea.

They are really loose fitting around the top of the foot and the heel so I’m going to cut darts on each side of the top and back and sew them up a little more snuggly. Then I’ll mail them back to my mom (along with some extra Colinette Isis (chenille) to fix the sleeves of her Christmas sweater that are disintegrating - ah, another adventure in knitting)

Your post about shipping some yarn to your mom to fix something you knit sounds just like me!
My mom had to change the button placement on something I made for her, b/c I had them all misaligned. (not that your mom’s sweater thing is your fault.)
