The giant sock is in the works! I’m really liking the way this yarn is coming out. The colors look different in natural light (like this picture) than inside at night…very interesting…. I found the gauge finally using a double strand and #13 needles. It’s a very thick and squishy fabric. The only problem is that the colors come off on my hands and blend into a dirty black. Theresa’s pattern is so clear - it’s making my first sock experience much less scary.

happy birthday!! those are gonna be so gorgeous! have you tested more swatches with longer agitation time? my first felting took a few swatches. anyway, i think your progress pic is great, you should send it to the fuzzy pages!
