Give me 48 hours dedicated to nothing but the house

interweave_cover_fall03.jpgFinally, one of the American magazines has come out with an issue I thought was worth buying, and did. Besides Amy’s debut, there are at least 4 or 5 sweaters I would consider making, should I ever find the time to pick up a pair of needles and, what was that stuff? Oh! Yarn. Yeah. I miss that stuff.

Looking for out of the ordinary recipes to wow Bob’s family this Thanksgiving, I ran across Out of the Frying Pan. We’ll have thirteen for dinner, and though frazzled with trying to get our newly purchased, unpainted, kitchen floor-less house into shape for the holidays, I couldn’t be more excited.

Yum-a-roni! I envy that you can serve up anything but the standards. My family is “old school” which means that in-the-skins mashed potatoes raises a brow or two.

I can relate to the stresses of unfinishdecoritis. This holiday celebration was our first in our relatively new household. We did some interior refurbishing over the summer, but hadn’t quite completed the details (umm, like pictures on the walls and stuff).

I really wanted a “finished” look for the feast, so spent several hours of my holiday prep time shopping for and implementing interior design manifestos.

In the midst, I felt nutso. But said and done, all was good.

And on the fourth Friday of November, Marcia rested.

I hope that yours was twice mine, plus. Which means you rest Friday and Saturday.
