Oh and here's something to enable you with more color. After my house flooded from Tropical storm Alison I painted my bedroon 2 colors. Beige on 2 walls and deep aqua on 2 walls. The ceiling is aqua. I have a yarn room too !! Ain't it great!!! I chose to paint it a warm beige cause it is on the dark side of the house with very little natural light. How exciting! I've spent many an hour pouring over paint chips. Just go with your gut. You can always paint over . . . :) (One helpful piece of advice? Buy lots of poster board and paint 'em. Put them in the room you plan to paint and live with them for a few days. You'll be amazed at how the light in each room can affect the color.) Your first home! How exciting! I feel so out of touch hehe. Tell Bob that the parts cleaning will require a permit for VOCs. (that's not really true -- but it's a good excuse!) My dh's parts cleaning facility is in the GARAGE!!! My yarn/sewing/inspiration room is going to be in my basement and still hasn't been built. I should follow my SIL's lead and build some cubbys for my yarn and fabric... maybe I would get organized then! (not likely haha!) Congratulations Jamie!!! I feel so out of touch hehe.
