Simple solution = spend too much money on an extravagant and totally gorgeous new project. I'd go Colinette ... but that's just my taste ,and I live in the U.K. ,where it's cheaper ! Aren't we all in a frumpy mood??? Switch gears! Buy a handful of Knitting mags for the trip! You are bound to find something of interest for when you return! Or just crochet or knit some coasters for Xmas Presents to keep busy! ( I add them to tops of wrapped presents ) Right now I am crocheting red hearts coasters... mindless but busy! :) Enjoy the trip!
