I heard about Leenas.com this morning in an email from Pattern Review. I’m in the middle of something at work but didn’t want to lose the link and thought I’d share. Leenas makes software for drafting your own patterns; several versions from freeware to professional. Has anyone used this before? I think I’m going to install the freeware version this weekend and see what it’s all about….
Also, check out The Sewing Place for closeout patterns…

Thanks for the recommendations. I’m wondering…where is your entry on Stitch n’ Flip quilts? I read it a while ago and now I can’t find it. Thanks!

Sometimes the archives don’t publish themselves on a timely basis. Here’s the permanent link: http://www.theredsweater.com/blog/archives/jamie/2003_04_01_index.html#93191546. Soon I’ll have an update on that one…

I’m looking forward to hearing about your experience with the free program from Leena’s.

Where did you get the pattern?
Awesome job!

Thanks Janel. The pattern is called "Raewyn" and it’s in Rowan #29. You can buy the book from theknittinggarden.com (here’s the link: http://www.theknittinggarden.com/ro-mag29.htm) This sweater isn’t pictured on the web page, but it’s definitely in this book.
I’d love to see a picture if you make it - I don’t know anyone else that has.

Thanks so much! I see there are several other sweaters pictured there that interest me as well!
I’m itching to start knitting again. It’s been a while. :]
Thanks again!
