I just joined NaNoWriMo, a web site tracking the progress of people writing novels through the month of November, and just in the month of November. The goal is to write 50,000 words between Nov 1 and Nov 30 - I’m getting a 6 day late start but I won’t be daunted. I found out about it on Marney’s web site - she’s already up to 1,800 words!
