One fuzzy foot down, one to go

I’m giving these to my Mom - they are completely her colors. I need to get over my black hands aversion so I can finish knitting them in time for a coming March 7th trip to Denver where we will custom full these to her feet. (Shh…she doesn’t know yet. I wonder, does she still read my blog?)

It’s made by Interlacements Yarns [http://www.interlacementsyarns.com/] and it’s called "Oregon Worsted". It’s a giant 14 ounce skein with 685 yards of 100% wool. Ridiculously affordable when compared to other painted yarns - $26 (which works out to $3.25 per 50g!) I love the colors but the dyes come off on my hands when I’m knitting it up.

Interlacements is having a trunk show out at the Troutdale shop (exit 17 off of I-84 E) this Friday night. I know you have better things to do I just thought I’d spread the word!

That would be really cool! I’m going to Denver Friday otherwise I would probably go…

Love your FF! We’re on the same page of the FFFA and I came to your blog to find out what that yarn is. Will check their site, and look forward to seeing yours fulled to fit. I used a double strand of a (Peruvian? Chilean?) hand-dye, and gifted my gal pal whose birthday was Saturday — she loves ‘em!
