Rowan 35 - a “Knitting and crochet” issue? Interesting.

Also, it looks like there are some new yarns with the customary books to go with them:

I’m not sure how I feel about Rowan 35. I haven’t bought either of the last 2 books - there’s just nothing in them that I would wear. I’m disappointed because the past designs put out by Rowan have been inspiring and by far my favorite collections.

Two of the yarn collection books, however, are really interesting. The Denim People is a wonderful update to the past denim collection with many inventive designs (There are several designers other than Kim Hargreaves, who does most of their yarn collection books - not that I don’t completely appreciate Kim’s designs!)

The other I like is the Cotton Braid Collection by Martin Story. I usually am not drawn to novelty yarns, but the things in the books look soft and comfortable and perfect for summer.

The Jaeger Collections look very promising, especially the all male book by Martin Story.
