Knitting Bloggers Favorite Recipes A bunch of bloggers got together and came out with a cookbook! You can download it! And there's some good lookin' stuff in there.
Where to Buy
Cucumberpatch We first bought yarn from the Cucumberpatch off eBay - she offered discounted Rowan yarn by the 10 pack, Colinette Kits, and exceptional service. Now with her own web site, she's more available than ever to [over]fill our stash(es).
Etsy All things handmade - a great place to sell the things YOU'RE making, too. I love this site and wish I had thought of it first.
Knit Picks Not only does Knit Picks carry their own line of traditional, trustworthy (and surprisingly inexpensive) yarns, but they sell a huge library of knitting books - at prices that match Amazon.com! with at least 6 - 9 pictures of the patterns inside.
Kpixie Very fun store with hard to find yarns and independant pattern designers. Unusual accessories too. Get a view of the patterns in print magazines before you buy them, without having to trudge down to your local Barnes & Noble.
The Knitting Garden Elizabeth does a wonderful job of letting us view inside pattern books and determine what and how much yarn we need for each and every pattern. She carries Rowan, Debbie Bliss, GGH/Rebecca, Noro, and Jo Sharp, to name a few.
Yarn Market Fun to use site with yarns that are difficult to find elsewhere online: Karabella, Lana Grossa, Lang along with the old stand-bys: Cascade, Classic Elite, Noro, Rowan, Debbie Bliss; the list just goes on and on. Wonderful, close up pictures in each color
Free Patterns
Adriafil Unbelievable, but they have instructions for all the patterns from their magazines. Definitely a great resource online.
